Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) made a bold prediction on stage at the Bitcoin MENA conference on Tuesday (December 9th). He stated that the crypto market could potentially enter a "supercycle" phase in 2026, a phenomenon that marks a fundamental shift from historical market patterns. In his view, the traditional four-year cycle that has historically characterized Bitcoin's price rises and falls may be coming to an end. Instead, CZ believes the market is shifting toward a prolonged period of growth, or a "supercycle." CZ also warned that this shift in trend requires strategic adjustments. He believes that most investors today may not be prepared for this prolonged growth phase, as they are still stuck in old volatility patterns that may no longer be relevant in the future.
